Hey, I'm Sarah
I found myself working in the service industry after high school. The fast paced environment, new people, delicious food and talented chefs made restaurant work so exciting.
I believe I gravitate towards travel for the same reasons. New cultures, fresh perspectives and dynamic friendships are all such exciting possibilities to me. The beauty of hospitality and travel is that they go hand in hand. There’s a restaurant, hotel or other accommodations located all over the world. My service industry skills transfer and it allowed me to bridge the gap between the two things I loved.
The Pandemic brought significant change to so many people, and I was no exception. I could no longer ignore the dream I had, and quickly began work on Frannie’s Market. I was eager to share my vision and creation with the community. In November 2020, I opened the doors and the support was overwhelming. Over the years I had the opportunity to work with some tenacious entrepreneurs. Watching them build their own dreams gave me courage to pursue my own. The long nights, early mornings and tough decisions are all worth it.
I dive into the unknown, dream big, work hard, and care a heck of a lot about other people. Frannie’s Market is a direct extension of my personal values paired with my love of hospitality. I am so pleased to have the opportunity to introduce my customers to the wonderful chefs, artisans and makers that I showcase at my shop. I wanted to create an environment that was warm, yet bright with a nod to vintage hospitality and the history Cedarburg loves so much.
